As we enter the final weeks of 2022 it’s been a bumper year for press coverage for the direct selling industry. You are probably aware that our country manager, Bob Parker is the Vice Chair of our industry body, the DSA UK, and as a team we work closely with the DSA to support their media relations activity by supplying case studies and opinion to help inform the association’s PR strategy.
There have been over 60 pieces of positive media coverage since the start of the year, including three page-lead features in The Sunday Times.
There has been extensive, positive media coverage and engagement in national media including;
- The Sunday Times
- The Telegraph
- The Times
- The i newspaper
- The Daily Express
- The Mirror
In fact two of our own Forever Business Owners have featured prominently in The Sunday Times, and Daily Express, as well as in consumer magazines such as Prima.
Getting on the radar of national press is no mean feat and marks a sea-change in journalists’ attitudes to the industry where previously they were inclined to write pieces with a negative bias
The DSA hosts quarterly PR meetings which we always actively engage in and it’s gratifying that it is increasingly being seen as ‘go to’ commentator by media and other key opinion formers.
Just this week in The Telegraph direct selling was referenced as one of 12 ways to make money through a side hustle.
