Boo!

Oh, sorry – I didn’t mean to frighten you. It’s lovely to have you join me – I’ve been so lonely these past few months with nobody at the Manor. Usually the hustle and bustle of the busy Forever office is enough to make me feel alive. Recently I’ve had to resort to popping by the Forever Centre and trying out some goodies to pass the time. But I’m getting ahead of myself! Let’s start at the beginning, shall we? Hello, it’s nice to meet you – I’m Charlotte, the resident ghost at Longbridge Manor.

Chances are you’re reading this on a ‘smart phone’ or ‘computer’ (I’m not much of a tech whizz – they weren’t really a thing in my day) and I’ve been told that if you follow Forever UK & Ireland on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, you may have already been introduced to some of my ghoulish friends this week. How are they all? It’s been a while since I’ve seen them, what with all this ‘social distancing’ going on, but All Hallows Eve is tomorrow and I’m told that so long as we all wear face masks, stay a few feet apart and keep to a group of no more than six, we should be able to get our spook on at last!

But it all got me thinking about treating them to some fantastic products and, while the Marketing team are letting me take over the blog for the week, I thought I’d give you some insight to some of our favourites so you can trick-or-treat yourself and your friends this winter!

Rolf the Werewolf

Howling in the moonlight is one of Rolf’s favourite hobbies, but he’s always saying he wishes his teeth gleamed a little brighter! Imagine my delight when I came across Forever Bright Toothgel! It’s a gentle, non-fluoride formula with a minty taste, perfect for Rolf’s whole family – including his litter of pups! And it’s green, so it’s sufficiently spooky all year round.

Archibald the Vampire

Archie’s a bit of a night owl, what with that whole ‘burning in the sun’ issue he has, so it’s great that the clocks have finally gone back, and he can come out earlier. That said, I’ve been looking into ways to help him get some sunlight – and what do you know, turns out Aloe Sunscreen really does the trick! With SPF 30 broad spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays, Archie’s been able to forgo his coffin in favour of some sunshine… though it turns out vampires don’t sparkle in the sun, after all.

Meryl the Witch

Meryl the mischievous, more like! She’s forever zapping things into hiding places or turning aloe vera plants into cacti – that witch! I managed to get her back by stealing her broomstick and going for a little ride on it… though I ended up crashing it into a tree, so I could do with making it up to her! I see what she means when she says it’s windy up there – no wonder her hair’s always straw-like! So I’ve treated her to Aloe-Jojoba Shampoo and Aloe-Jojoba Conditioning Rinse, both of which leave hair shiny, strong, and nourished. Shame it won’t help her warty complexion…

Sammy the Skeleton

Sammy’s the comedian of the group – always cracking jokes that really tickle your funny bone. He’s better at dishing it out than he is at taking it though – I guess he’s a little thin-skinned. But so long as his bones stay nice and healthy, I can keep the others from picking on him too much – that’s why I’m gifting him a bottle of Forever Calcium. Calcium is an essential mineral needed for maintaining normal teeth and bones – and it also contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and muscle function… when you have muscles, anyway. Oh, shh… don’t tell Sammy I said that, I don’t want him thinking he has ‘no body’ to back him up. Oh, bones, I’ve done it again!

Charlotte the Ghost

When it comes to me, I love all of Forever’s products – it’s one of the reasons I’ve been sticking around the Manor for so long! But if you were looking to get me a special gift, I do have eyes for one very particular product. The Aloe Bio-Cellulose Mask, which the Marketing team tell me is multi award-winning, is my number one secret for staying so boo-tiful!
