Kate Lewis is no stranger to the world of health and beauty, having previously worked for global cosmetic giants including the likes of Estée Lauder and Benefit cosmetics. Kate is a qualified beauty therapist (NVQ level 2 and 3), holds an HND in theatrical and media makeup and she has worked at Forever as a Product Specialist for just over two years. As part of her role, Kate is based in Business Owner Support and responds to all product enquiry emails and calls. I’m a huge fan of face masks as they are such a great way to indulge in a well-deserved pamper. The everyday stresses of modern life can often leave our skin looking dull and feeling dehydrated, and I find that the best way to combat these environmental factors is to use a mask that focuses on hydrating and soothing the skin.

The Forever Marine Mask is fantastic as it provides a deep-cleansing experience whilst balancing the skin’s texture. I love the fact that it contains natural sea minerals such as sea kelp and algae. Sea minerals are well known for their soothing properties and are ideal to help calm blemishes and sensitive skin. It also has the super moisturising and conditioning properties of aloe vera, honey and cucumber extract – an incredible combination which smells amazing too!

How to apply the Marine Mask

The great thing about the Forever Marine Mask is that it is already mixed and can be applied directly onto clean, dry skin.

I apply this mask twice a week to my face when I feel like my skin needs a treat. The best way to apply the mask is to squeeze a generous amount of the mask onto the back of your hand, then apply a thick layer to the entire face avoiding the delicate eye area, lips and eyebrows. It is extremely easy-to-use and will leave your skin feeling refreshed and revitalised.

Once it has been applied to the skin, simply lie down and relax; leave the mask to dry for 15-20 minutes before gently removing it with a warm facial cloth and rinsing thoroughly. Pat the skin dry with a clean towel.
