Website Support Desk › How to change the security level to Medium in Microsoft Internet Explorer?

Changing this security setting will enable plugins (ActiveX plugins) and JavaScript for the Internet Explorer browser, both of which are used throughout the website.

  1. On the "Tools" menu, click "Internet Options", and then click the "Security" tab

  2. Click the "Internet" web content security zone to select it and view its current settings.
  3. Click on the the "Default Level" button if it is enabled. Else move onto the next step.
  4. Change the security level for the selected zone to "Medium" by moving the slider.

  5. Click "OK" to save your settings.
  6. Close your browser for changes to take effect.
